I am aware of threads disappearing at the whim of the Mods, but for the life of me I can't recall seeing anything offensive.
Or it is possible I suppose that the good stuff got taken down before I got to enjoy it.

I created a thread about the women at Wimbledon making unnecessary noise. Simple as.
I did use a word that may set off the alarms but it is not an offensive word per say and a quick search proves that it has been used elsewhere.
Anyway, badge of honour as far as I am concerned.

Instead of removing an entire thread, would it not be more appropriate for the Mods to remove individual offending posts? They could remove the post and insert a notice 'Post deleted because......'
In this way we could continue to enjoy threads that have entertained a lot of users.0 -
