Trek aquires world tour licence

Trek Bicycle has reached an agreement with Leopard SA to obtain its WorldTour racing license to create a new team debuting in 2014. A named sponsor since the team's inception in 2010, beginning next year Trek will assume ownership of the team.

    Not usually a Trek fan but they are funky enough to grab my attention.

    what I really want (for obvious reasons) is one of those Mavic neutral service bikes (cannondale?) anyone know if they ever sell them off?

    Let's hope Treck redesigns the jeseys as the current ones are truly awful

    horrible colour for the bikes. Are they trying to be innovative or just attention seeking. Either way they look rubbish.

    They do stand out and that might be important re camera shots or riders looking around for team mates. Anyway it's free and the riders don't care. Prob. that blue would have suited Astana

    It's not a bad colour, there's just too much of it. With black or white tape a black stem and seatpost and a saddle to match they would just look bad.
