Cissbury Ring - Warning
Warning for those cycling in the Findon area.... I was mountain biking at the weekend cycling from the car park below Cissbury Ring down the hill towards Titch Hill (Lancing direction) and there are many gatepost tacks on the bridleway ( for over 1km across the whole width of the track in places). These are the sort used on gateposts approximately 2 inches long and very sharp. I wrecked one of my tyres I'm afraid. :evil:
Not sure if this was a careless accident or more likely a deliberate act :evil: :evil: - I've contacted the South Downs National Park Authority to see if they can clean up the bridleway - not sure if they (or anyone can).
So if you are biking in that area please be aware - equally you may want to be careful if out with the family (children, dogs etc..) for a walk.
