Training for MTB XC marathon in late Sept

So I did a silly thing and signed up for a MTB marathon in Sept. It will be 103km of mixed single track and forest road with moderate technical XC type climbs and descents.

So, how to train? I currently only train on the bike. I do about 35km 5-6 days a week, 2 of which are single track the rest forest road on my commute to work. Yes I am lucky enough to commute through (mostly) forest roads. I did he 57km route of the same race last year and have done a number of 40 to 50 km races since.

So question is, do I keep doings this and simply ramp up the distance to long low heart rides once or twice a week or should I do more. I a not looking to win (impossible anyhow), it wold like enough fitness so I can enjoy it like I did the 57km route last year.

Long slow rides will only do so much, in that they will allow you to ride further at the same pace. You need some interval training if you want to go faster though.
I've run several half and full marathons and found I always run at the same speed, whether I’m going 10k, half or full marathon.
If your race is 103km, you should be able to get away with training up to 75km, then plenty of rest and carb loading in the final week should get you to the end.
