Travel insurance for La Marmotte

Travelling down to Alpe d'Huez a week tomorrow, ready for my first crack at anything abroad, let alone a famously tough Alpine Gran Fondo! Very excited.

Any recommendations for travel insurance? All 5 bikes are going on the car, no bikes above £1500 in value, can you get a group policy to cover us all? Or better off sorting out independent policies?

Any advice gratefully received.

    I use Columbus Direct as they cover you for cycling.....but only 'touring'...........if anything happens in the Marmotte I wasn't wearing a number..........
