Brake bolt sizing

Hi. I have now got some 2012 sram red brakes (was a bargain) to replace my 2011 sram red brakes. However upon fitting them it seems the newer brakes have a shorter thread for the bolt to attach too. It maybe just does about one to two turns and fails to bite properly. Is there somewhere where I can buy a selection of brake bolt lengths to ensure the right fit. The front one fitted fine just the rear is the problem child. Thanks

Your LBS should have a selection of spare brake bolts - they're available in different lengths
