Hello,
I am looking to replace the rear wheel on my hybrid bike (Scott Sportster 55 2012) as my LBS have advised that the freehub has broken, and the entire wheel needs to be replaced.
The wheel to be replaced is a Araya TX-733, 700C, 32H, D-Wall, Quick Release, Disc Brake, Black.
I need a compatible replacement that will take an 8 speed cassette and 700x37C tyres.
Can anyone advise please?
Regards
Matt

Why not get a new freehub? What hub is it? Scott website suggests a Shimano which means very easy to find and fit replacement, if it's Shimano replace the LBS at the same time!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

That's what I thought initially, replace the freehub. Trouble is I cannot find the model of hub currently installed.
It is a Shimano FH-RM35 CL, nowhere seems to stock that type anymore.
I'm not sure if there is a model that has superseded this one that is compatible.....?0 -

Yep, checked with the above - out of stock.
CRC have advised that the Shimano RM65 Rear Hub is compatible, at £10 for the lot it's worth a punt.

Most similar age Shimano hubs are compatable, often a good idea to get a complete hub for the spare axle/cones/bearings/cups etc etc as well!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
