Rear Mech swap Help Pls

Hi guys is it possible to Visually identify your rear mech i have a campagnolo Record groupset and would like to change my gearing from a 12-25 cassette to a 13-29 and have been told i would need to replace my rear mech if i have the short cage version but the med cage will accommodate the new cassette but can i identify which one i have before i buy the cassette and try fitting it ?

Most folks get away running the 29 sprocket with a short cage Campagnolo mech - have you tried it? If the top jockey wheel doesn't clash with the largest sprocket, then you'll be OK
