Why cant I send PM's

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and tried to send a private message, but for some reason I don't have this facility? I'm registered, signed in and checked the User Control Panel.

Any ideas?

    They stay in the outbox until the person reads it, it's a bit different from email, better really as you know when your message is read because it goes from outbox to sent :)
