OK, I've just looked it up they re the new Deore brakes replacement for m596.0

Only difference is they can use finned pads, so if the older ones were superb at the price, the new ones should be equally good at the same price.I don't do smileys.

Try Rose bikes. I got a pair from there for just under £70

last time I checked the Deore's (M596) from Rose were £80 same price as from CRC.

If anyone is interested I have a set of deore m596 F&R with xt rotors Rt76 and mounts p/p front 180 and p/s rear 160 for sale. Everything needed. The rear has original hose length never fitted. The front was fitted and hose shortened slightly and taken straight off. PM me if interested or want pictures . Sorry to hijack thread. Cheers0
