Looking into buying some Land Cruisers to fit on my MTB for my work commute.
Total distance is nine miles each way, half cycle path/gravel bridleway the other half on the road.
I was wondering what would be the advised PSI to pump the tyres up to for this commute.
Also if I went for the thinner tyre in a 26" would that help or not?

reasonably high 50-55psi ish is what I use

I have the thinner (1.95? IIRC) ones on my station hack and they roll pretty well on the road, the continuous band in the centre really works well, but never had the fatter ones to compare with. They are also pretty good in the mud in woods too, very good all rounder for the price.

Thanks for the reply, so would I see a noticeable difference to my Geax Saguaro' which are the original tyres that came with my MTB. In two minds whether to change to a Hybrid or try changing the Tyres first on my MTB.
