Anybody using Sidi Mens Five XC MTB Shoe - (£132.99) I'm looking at buying a pair this week as old shimano shoes are falling apart or if you can recommend any lightweight fairly durable XC race shoes I'd appreciate it.

Specialized BG MTB pro. My pair are falling apart after 6 1/2 years so I think I have got my moneys worth.

+1 for Spesh. I love my S-Works, but a little more expensive.
  • Cheers guys, the reviews for the BG MTB pro are coming up as very good. I started off thinking I'd spend less than £100 and now I'm up to £180, Oh well If I die and the wife sells all my kit for what I told her I paid for it I'll be spinning in my grave.

I came to S-Works from Sidi Dragons, and prefer the Spesh in every way. Had 3 successive pairs of S-Works ones, and the newest ones are fantastic.
  • So after searching the web and finding that there are no deals to be had on the BG pro I took myself off to two Evans cycle stores only to be told that they do not keep them in store as they are high end! and I will have to order them online! Strewuth!
