Hi,

I think this tyre has had it, gash in side wall. What do you guys think, bin it, repair?

I have no idea what's going on here.

    +2

Normally gashes/slashes are fine but on sidewall i'd not risk it.

    Replacing it is the safest.
    But....
the rubber that covers the casing doesn't really provide strength.
So if ONLY the rubber is cut, AND the casing threads are still good - then I might try some sort of sealant over the gash. If you try that, inspect the tire before every ride to make sure the gash is not enlarging or bulging.
