Hi all, after 7 years of not being happy with the small frame on my XTC SE I've grabbed a medium off ebay and intend to swap the frames over. Problem is I believe the head tube on the medium frame is about 9mm longer than on the small frame.

Will my old forks still fit or are they gonna have to be changed?

If you have spacers then the odds are good. If you used a stem with a tall starck height the odds are good.

If neither go bu a new bike.

Hi there, yeah it has has about 29mm of spacers so I'm guessing I could just remove a spacer or 2 and it's good to go?

I'd just get a new bike but having just got wifey a new bike it's not an option at the moment.
