Damn right Njee its the fricken hippies!!! persecute them!

Agreed, I heard they cause more accidents than they prevent.
What's more alarming, is that everyone who comes into contact with a 29er eventually dies.

AAARRRGGHHH I touched one the other day...how long do I have left?

No idea, all that's certain is that you are going to die now.
Do you want me to consult Galactic Gavin, the soothsayer for you?

I rode a 29er at a demo day last year, had my company medical the other week and the Dr says I'm dying, only given me another 40-50 years to live! damn that 29er.

On a different note, fastest ever time for me on my work commute this morning (private Strava segment for the whole route) - life in the old legs yet!

A friend of mine bought a 29er, three years later... BOOM - herpes. You really can't be too careful.

That's not exactly bad AIDs. A good dose of 24er should sort him out.

I've ridden two 29ers recently. Should I have put a condom over the saddle and grips?

I'd love to take credit it for it, but I shamelessly stole it from Family Guy (albeit a reference to second hand car salesmen originally), but yes, it made me laugh too!

    No, thats how you get 650B - a 26" rider farks a 29er and you get a 650Baby

I just began to use Strava over the last few months and I did one run which wasn't bad at 1:54:52 using my Samsung galaxy s2 app and annoyingly it didn't go into the Dalby red leader board as I would have been 16th I believe which wouldn't have been too bad with two stops for a first go but It didn't go into it. Is there any way to guarantee it will go into the leader board next time? its a lot of effort for it not to work again. I was also wondering if bad GPS signal could contribute to it not reading correctly but also giving false readings as it also says I did a mile longer than everyone else which I certainly did not.

There is a local wood near me, it has one loop of trail, just over 1 mile long but three strava segments that don't quite match each other enough to be counted as the same segment, so 3 leader boards and 3 KOM's. On a recent ride, 7 of us logged the route with quite a lot of variance.

Would you not have ridden your bike otherwise?

I like Strava, it helps you find decent sections in new areas, the competition thing is a bit of fun as long as you don't take it too seriously, I can see progression in my own times (hopefully) and I can see what my roadie mates are up to. I don't go out on my bike just to use Strava, that'd be daft, but as a bit of fun and a training tool it is fine, especially for free.

No not at all, Its just a little annoying when you want your time logged and its not done it properly and I ride all the time but not at full speed killing myself just to see how quick I can actually do it. All is not lost though I still have a bench mark to see how I can improve on but obviously it didn't have any of the segments on either to see where I am good and where needs work hence improving riding from using it.

Surely you can tell where your own strengths and weaknesses are without any software.
