Is the dropping seat post worth the investment?
I would use it for trail riding in the UK.

Do you currently have to move your seat up and down a lot? If so yes.

Exactly. Are you constantly stopping to move your seat? Or are you constantly riding with the seat at the wrong height because you don't want to stop? (that was me)

If you do decide you want one - the KS LEV is worth a look too - the cable is mounted at the bottom of the post near where your seatclamp is - saves the need for extra long cables that rub up and down the frame when you raise and lower the seat - it performs well too. Rockshox definitely the leaders though.Lapierre Spicy 516 XTR custom (2013) -http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=129323320
