New XC MTB

Hi,

Fairly new to the MTB scene and have about 1500 to blow on a new bike. Was wanting some advice on which bike, full sus or hardtail etc etc etc.

    To do what sort of riding? What surface, wht do you most enjoy or not enjoy so much?
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Id like to try some races but I also do offroad triathlons so a bit of that also. I think I will mostly be riding on trails and fire roads, nothing too technical or "off piste".
