You could try bolle safety glasses for a cheaper alternative. Been using some lightly tinted ones for a while now and they do the job, look OK too.

I use these from Edinburgh bike co-op http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... ccessories
They're great for what I want, come with 3 different lenses, and you can get new frames and lenses separately if you need to.

I bought a pair of Arroyos when they were on sale for under £20. Really pleased wih them as they're decently built, fit well and come with 4 grades of lenses and a decent hard case. The only slight complaint is that swapping lenses out is a bit fiddly, but you soon get used to the method after a couple of times.

Go to a local screwfix, they only have one option and they look very nice.

I must admit I just bought a pair from eBay for £17, they cover my eyes, stop the bugs & my wife will not kill me for spending any more money this month on bike equipment (£120 on shoes & £60 pedals not in her good books).
