so after ages of looking for a new frame im thinking of going for a new covert, just want to know if any of you have one what do you think of them? im 5ft 7" and need to find a shop where I can have a ride on one in south wales, think I will need to go for a small frame.

I know a guy who has one and loves it for BC style riding - I would give you my review of it but I am your height and he is over 6ft so I cant even get a leg over it - they are pretty tasty bikes but pricey in UK I believe.

I've had a quick go on both the 26 and 29 version and they both felt nice on the quick ride I had. It was only a really quick ride so can't give much info apart from it all felt pretty good there was nothing immediately bad about it. I was tempted to go for the Covert26 but it was just too much bike for me, I'd never make the most of what the bike can do. In the end I went for a Bandit26.

Transition UK have a demo fleet of bikes that they can send out to dealers. Find out who your local dealer Transition dealer is and ask them if they can get a bike sent over for you to try. Or even try contacting Transition directly, my experience with them is very good.

Speak to Surf Sales the distributor, they will help out with either a dealer or a demo bike.

I looked long and hard at the Covert and very nearly bought it but in the end the even more all-round nature of the Bandit won me over. Ridden a few other bikes since and nothing has made me want to change.
