Marin Front Mech Help

Hi,
First post on here and looking for some help, just built up a Marin Rocksprings frame with parts from from hardtail and i have an issue with the front mech. The BB shell is 68mm so i've put 2 spacers on the drive side and 1 on the non drive side but the front mech is too far back as if the chainset is too far away, I've put a couple of pics below. With no cable attached to the front mech the chain is rubbing on the outer guide and if i manually extend the mech it wont even reach the big ring?
I'm starting to think i've got the spacers in wrong but i thought i had them setup right for a 68mm, anyone got any ideas do Marins need setting up differently.
Forgot to say have a slx triple and slx BB with a XT top swing top/bottom pull mech

Just checked again, school boy error!! i was adjusting the L limit screw and wasn't doing much, I manually moved the mech out which then allowed me to screw in the L limit a load more which moved the guide plates out into the right position DOH!
I wont forget that again.0
