Hi everybody,

i'm new on the forum but readed for a couples of mouth.

I need to buy another road bike....

I'm 44 years old, 2000 to 4000 km a years and mostly long distance (70 to 150 km). I want a bike who climb very well but not specially for sprint...

I have two choices :

Wilier Cento 1 sr with Chorus and Shamal Ultra at 6200$
or
Specialized S-works Tarmac SL4 with Chorus and Shamal ultra 7000$

Your advice please

Good news-they're both suitable for climbing hills ;)
Best thing to do is test ride both before deciding, they're both decent bikes so it's down to your preference

One of the Trek Domane range? Meant to be superb at covering long distances

I picked up a new trek domane yesterday and took it for a quick spin last night - it rode fantastically well! Very happy with my purchase!

Willer for me too. But as mentioned above (very wisely) you should test them both to see which you prefer.

I understand your comment, but if I was buying at the moment, I'd still go for a test ride and use it as a benchmark even if you don't buy it. I haven't seen any deals on the Domane either, which probably means they can shift all they can...

Just test the bike and just bought it !!!! :P

If you push that bike it will deliver super great performance, especially on climing...amazing.

On flat, it is fast but the most amazing stuff is the soft ride and quality of riding over bumps. The power transfert to the wheel is exceptionnal.

Wilier zero.7 with Campy record and Campy Eurus at less than 7K canadian and 1000$ of free stock in the bike shop at my choice...it was impossible to resist.
