Both models, huge discounts.

Very well specced in comparison to the '13 Giant Anthem X 29er 2 I test rode the other day, would probably be around 1-2kg lighter too I'd of thought!

Anyone have any light to shed on these bikes?

Which is the better value to you?

Will be used for approx 20 miles of commute between train station and actually riding a trail centre.

    Rear shock is a big letdown on a bike of that price imo - the money would be better spent on a decent rear shock and sacrifice the carbon frame (you stand to gain far more performance from a good rear shock than a carbon frame vs an alu frame).
