Fork steerer width

hi can use a traditional fork headtube ( 1/18th) in a tapered frame?

    I have a hope one in at the min set up for a 1.5 fork do I need a different cup?

    you will need a suitable crown race.

    which i believe hope do which allows you to use the existing lower cup.

    Hope do a convertor (on ebay) which will fit where the crownrace would on your fork and then takes the tapered lower crown race.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
