Suspension Forks For the wifes bike

Right Folks, I am in the process of building up an old Trek Fuel 90 for my wife. I have a set of Tora U-turn forks in the parts bin which i fitted to her first bike. However my wife weighs about 7 stone and it looks as if she is to light for the current setup. From reading up on the net it would appear that the fuel 90 (2003 vintage) is designed for 100mm front travel. So what set up would people recommend for a light weight rider? The bike will be used for trail centres and single track. Nothing agressive, I also dont want to spend a fortune. Any recomendations?

Not really thought about a budget Supersonic. I think i would probably be better to spend upto £150 on a used fork then more on a lower spec new?0

I'd look for a 2nd hand Reba - air sprung, highly adjustable, a doddle to service.0
