Feeling cramped

I've clocked about 400 miles on my bike so far and have adjusted my seat post and even flipped the stem but did that I still get back pain after the 20 mile mark. I also have find that I get very cramped when I try to drop down to the hooks and can't say I ever feel stable enough to stay there. I'm 6'2ft and riding a 56cm moda intro bike 2013. I'm thinking the bike maybe to small but as its only my first bike I'm not sure.

Perhaps a longer stem would help?

I would hazard a guess that your saddle is too far forward, try moving it back for a more stable position with less weight on your hands. Can you post a photo of you on your bike so we can see your position?

you have answered your own question at 6'3" AS 56cm frame is too small. I reckon you wnat a 58 or 60 depending on the model & you relative body / limb length.

longer stem and lay back seat most might help to some degree.
