Gears Slipping

Hi All,
Hoping you can help out a newbie here.


Just recently piked up a new Specialized MTB and all is fine apart from some of the gears start to jump when going up hills. They seem to change smoothly enough but there are a couple of gears where it starts to sound a bit rattly and as soon as you go uphill it jumps.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, i dont really want to take it to a shop to get charged for what seems to be a quick fix i hope.
