Hi,
A friend and I are looking for a hotel or B&B in the Lake District, somewhere that's scenic with a variety of hills. We shall probably ride 50-100 miles per day.
Can anyone recommend a bike friendly place to stay for 3 nights, I don't really want to leave my bike anywhere other than my room as its quite expensive.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I stayed here for 2 nights last year for the Fred Whitton. It is fantastic. They are lovely people & the breakfast was incredible! I would have booked again had I got a place this year. Alas I did not. They give you a key for the secure garage at the rear for bikes, this was fine. Rooms are great & they give you tea & cake when you arrive & leave home made choccies in your room everyday!
Perfectly located for walking, cycling, & plenty of places local to eat out.0
