Just curious how others store their cycling jerseys/bibs/knickers/etc.?

Meaning do you hang them? Put them in a drawer? Zip lock bag, etc.

Thanks

My wife folds it all and places it neatly in my cupboard. I just take it wear it and throw it in the wash.

I just found mine at the bottom of the washing basket. Mmmmm been sat there for a week after a 75 mile sportive. Gonna smell nivlce tomorrow.

Otherwise just chucked on a shelf in the wardrobe after a wash.

  • The ready use stuff lives in a box in the office (where I spend most of my time), and things for other seasons find their way to the wardrobe. It's always washed promptly because I work from home and am therefore household Laundry Monitor, so prioritise it over other, less important items of clothing.

If that refers to your bib shorts, that's a pretty good way to encourage the development of saddle sores!

    Really...this is a real question...really!

It is clothing, just store it how ever you like.

Winter stuff is in storage under the bed in a plastic crate.

Current stuff is organised neatly in a heap in an open crate in the spare room.

Thanks all. I was trying to determine wether or not to put them all in a plastic bin or each matching kit in a plastic baggy. They are currently hanging which is taking up much needed space.

2 large drawers (nearly full ) vaguely separated into summer/winter jumbled up in a big mess

Folded neatly in bottom of chest of draws. One pile winter; one pile gloves/mitts; one pile summer and then shoes/helmet squeezed in. if i don't do it, it disappears around the house never to be seen again. I am a bit OCD though!!

My cycling gear is squashed in a drawer. Squashed cause, dare I say it, I might have too much gear for the amount of cycling I do  Gloves/mitts live on a table beside the bike with the helmet and jackets are on the back of the front door.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
