    they are wearing the gabba rather than a waterproof over jacket though. thats the difference.

    also need to take into account cost.

    Gore = cheap :wink:
    Rapha = £190
    Castelli = £250 (for now)

    I've got a 10% off code at Rapha you're welcome to, drop me a PM with your email address. I've got the Rapha rain jacket and it's absolutely awesome.
    thanks but im definitely going to get the gore jacket.

    so having done some research of my own today, i'm probably going to replace my gore jacket with another one.

    That xenon is nice gabriel, but i havent really got the need for a windstopper like that.

    I understand, although I have used the xenon on showers and been bone dry I am sure it won't be as effective on downpours!!!

    where are you getting the gore one from?

    yeah when i looked at pricings it just didnt make sense not to get the gore jacket. i havent ordered it yet, will hold off for a few months as if it rains now i'll just get wet/carry a lighter jacket on me.

    especially as right now im poor. I would have got it sorted this weekend but checked my bank balance and thought better of it!

    Problem is - the softshell doesn't do anything similar to the Gabba

    Out of interest (and sorry for the thread hijack) which Gabba do you have? The ss, ls or convertible (difficult to find)? Tempted to get one but wondering what's going to be the most versatile given how little people seem to rate the nanoflex armwarmers. Given you avoid it above 10C, I'm guessing it's no good for the summer and hence an LS is best?

    I have the L/S as I got a great deal on it. I actually wore it on Sunday in London as it was raining. Didn't overheat at all with the vents open and the chest zip undone a little. Dunno what the temp as but it was over 10.
