Probably the best bike purchase I have ever made. Nothing matched the warm fuzzy feeling* quite like it when I opened the packaging and started to assemble it.

*Apart from that Chantal incident in the shopping trolley years ago.

I cannot wait for the moment when I show her it.

BTW, after umpteen years assembling bikes and fixing them for other people, the moment I took the bike out, my OH said "Do you know what you are doing?". Its okay, I was resuscitated and they have inserted a pacemaker and my breathing is no longer erratic so don't worry.

Stem needs slamming, saddle needs levelling.....

I've just re-painted a Trek bike for my daughter that was originally my sons, just waiting for a few replacement parts for it. My daughter keeps asking everyday when it is going to be ready, very impatient. :-)

Seriously, why the hell does everyone have the bars above the saddle these days? It's pointless.

    Also, flats?

Looks a bit on the small side for your OH, but I've never met her :D

From then on my life went down hill - so be careful what you wish for.
