Giant Revel 0 2012 or Boardman Comp 2012?

Hi guys, bit of help please.

I am looking for a new bike, with my budget i have been looking at the above 2 bikes, i got offered a used boardman comp 2012 model for £300, in the mean time the giant revel 0 2012 has been pointed out to me on a site thats selling it new for £385, reduced from £500.

The specs of both are a similarish, the Giant's seem like they may actually be better considering i am only paying a little more and its new!

i am finding it hard getting the exact specs for the 2012 model of the boardman but i do believe the forks are suntour similar to the giant's, i think the newer 2013 model has rock shox but its much dearer.

can anyone give their opinion please?
