Chain for 6 speed cassette

I need to replace the chain on my road bike but it has a 6 speed cassette. After looking around I only seem to find a chain for 7 speed cassettes and above with a missing link (SRAM or KMC). Will that be ok to buy or will I need a 6 speed chain?

    Anything up to 8 speed will be fine - the internal width is the same. I use Connex 808 on my retro-bike with 6 speed freewheel
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
