Fizik Arione

I've tested a Fizik Arione R3 saddle and have been impressed and want to go ahead and purchase one.. my question is, there are several such as the Arione R3, Arione CX etc.... Am I correct in saying Arione is the shape and the other bits just define what its made of, wether its carbon with braided carbon rails or titanium rails etc...
I've tested an R3, but would rather pay for the CX which is £30 cheaper on Wiggle, and if its the same shape as the R3 and it's just simply because its a gram or two heavier im happy..
Can anyone help answer this?
Thanks!

R3 is the new model, it's a bit different from the old arione, cx is a lighter version of the old arione, with less padding.Smarter than the average bear.0

I just bought the cheapest Arione from Evans.
They have it listed at £69-99.
Use code DAD20 to reduce to £49.99 Bargain.
Code has been pulled for online orders but is still accepted over the phone.
Don't know the differences from the R3 but seems a steal at that price.0 -
I've just bought the Arione CX from my LBS who've been great today, but replacing my rear mech hanger and getting the part in today, and also getting the saddle in next day so my bike is ready for saturday for a charity ride i've entered! - OK I think I've paid £20 more for the saddle, but they did let me test an R3 for over a week and the service is first class so that's what you pay a little more money for.0

As long as you know the saddle you bought is not the saddle you tested.Smarter than the average bear.0

Indeed - I took a CX for a test ride too and got on well with it0
