Uses for a dead frame

After breaking my Giant XTC (snapped drop out) frame with my over enthusiastic riding I'm wondering what to do with it. It's certainly not pretty enough to hang on the wall as a piece of art.
We are constantly being told that rather than throw things away we should try to re-use or recycle. Any ideas?

    Wouldn't waste your time.

Use it as a bell next MTB event you go to or make it into a truing jig.

JAF bikes can weld it then carbon wrap as a repair, they have done it to loads of trials frames and they have taken the abuse nicely!

Otherwise truing jig is a good plan

Not sure a frame with a broken dropout will work as a truing jig.....

They're ideal for use when heckling people.

Even better when it's in a place where lots of people crash.

I will be honest. That's not an option I had considered. Now that I have thought about it I will wash my brain in Cillit Bang

Maybe the vid was before the wonders of dropper posts, and you had to actually get off the bike to lower the seat. Pffft

So...get off the bike and lower the seat :? . No way - I'd be tackling a section like that with my seat a full height...makes my eyes water just thinking about it!

    Why?
It's a gentle slope with a curve. Those were just the rubbish riders who fell off. Most made it fine.

No Idea except I read the comments. But go into it with your weight on the left and stick the front brake on and the outcome is obvious.

But that involves loosing valubale XC seconds?! are you mad?!

Im being sarcy I think dropper posts are a solution to an invented problem.
