Mold, Flintshire Road Bike Club

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any road bike clubs in or around the Mold, Flinthsire North Wales area ?

There is a club at Chester but was hoping there was something closer by.

    The Mold section of Chester & N.Wales CTC is very active and their group rides are quite a bit harder than the typical CTC potter.

    If you're looking for something more 'racy', there's Fibrax Wrexham Roads and there's a club based in Deeside, who's name I forget :oops: , but drop into Graham Weigh Cycles (formerly Deeside) in Shotton and have a word with Keith.

    There will surely be members from these clubs near you. The TTers at FWRC are a decent lot, I haven't met anyone from the other two.

    There's also Deeside Olympic who i think meet by Graham Weigh Cycles in Shotton. There's also the Wirral clubs who ride from Eureka Cafe though - you can park your car at the Premier Inn just down the road if you drive there. I ride with Port Sunlight Wheelers from there, but there is also Birkenhead North End
