I'm not a fan of Schwalbe tyres. They work well but don't last.

Yeah I've heard that, I've done about 10 miles of trail riding so far and loving the extra grip. If I can get them to last six months ill be happy.

Well thought it was time I updated this thread with the new spec and some pictures. Done massive amounts of riding on this now and always come of smiling.

    Changes are:
    RS Revelations 150mm
    Reverb
Full Zee transmission (Standard crank on 1x10 RFace N/W 34t)
    Sram Guide RS 180mm F/R
    Fatbar Lite 740mm 20mm rise
Stans Flow/Superstar Switch evo (Fat Albert FR 2.4Tstar/Nobby Nic 2.25Pcstar) tubeless
Superstar Delta Mag pedals (not pictured)

As you can see there has been some progression over the standard spec. Ive been doing everything on it upto the reds at BPW and still it hasn't got out of its depth (Rim Dinger etc at BPW would have been quicker on a 160mm FS  )

Bike's looking great... I may well be the third person who owns one! I've followed your thread ever since I got mine back in 2013 and made a few mods to it - reverb (essential) 1x10, XT brakes etc...
My main area I want to change is the fork as I found the CTD pretty flexy for the stiff frame and blows through the travel. How are you getting on with your Revs? Thinking about running some 140mm on mine - there's some other contenders but these days its tougher to get 1 1/8 steerers... Let me know dude...
  • Thought I commented on this before,

Looks awesome, and I know performance should overrule looks.

BUT the Onza tires just made it look awesome with colored sidewalls (almost like a DJ bike).

Recently demo'd a FS and was impressed but I still think HT has the magic for me.

But still impressive, what is the yellow on the RHS of the stem? Reflective tape?
