6600 caliper - spring popped out

Stripping down a bike the other evening, and the spring popped out of my rear caliper - 6600 Ultegra. Can anyone tell me how I get the bloody thing back in?? :?

Excuse my ignorance folks, im new to the world of dDIY mechanics, but Im getting there with the help of the good folk of this forum! :D

    Er, yeah, done that. I can see how its supposed to look. What I cant seem to do is bend the arms apart to get the spring back in. Sorry, perhaps I didnt make my original post very clear!

    GIANT PROPEL SL1 for racing and posing
    TREK 2.5 training and commuting
    GIANT REVEL 1 LTD for when it gets all snowy

    Thanks, thats great. Does it need to be taken apart to put the spring back in?

    its as good an excuse to take it apart clean it and regrease it as any

    Yeah I guess so, could probably do with it. Thanks for that anyway, also managed to find the service document via the same link :)

    Undo the QR on the calliper and pop the cable out of on of the stops to give plenty of slack in the cable and then push the spring back in whilst gripping it with pliers.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
