FSA 386 Chainring query

Hi All. Noob alert.
My 2011 Boardman Pro needs a new drivetrain. I have sourced all the parts I require (I think!) bar one, possibly.
I need a 42 teeth/tooth Sram compatible chainring (2x10). One of these seems to fit the bill, a super 386 chainring: http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/54/fsa_ring_2/fsa-super-386-mtb-chainring.html (Note the 42t Sram version is not available.)
This chainring is available, an SL-K super 386:http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/54/fsa_slk386/fsa-sl-k-386-super-mtb-chainring.html
To my newbie eyes they appear to be the same ring, though a different colour/decal. The "SL-K" seems to refer to an FSA carbon crankset and somewhere in my google trawling I'm reasonably sure I found a retailer state these rings are only compatible with SL-K cranks.
The only other 42 tooth/teeth Sram compatible chainring I have found online is a stamped 386: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=972364&categoryId=165545&langId=-1 This is half the price of the Super 386 version, so, half the quality? Half lifespan? More wear to chain and therefore cassette? More expensive in long run? Etc?
Wiggle list the 42t Super 386 ring I require (and blindly assume will fit) as out of stock. I have no previous experience of Wiggle and don't wish to pay for something I may wait indefinitely for.
So, anyone willing and able to shed some light on this problem please feel free to abuse and/or patronise me as the clueless newbie I am while you're at it!
Thanks

If it is the 3 bolt fitting you require, then the Halfords one should work fine, and will last just as long.0
