My wife and kids have asked for Fathers Day ideas (I assume they will buy something for me). Any thoughts under £50 beyond:

- new helmet
- money towards new saddle
- subscription to Cyclist

Look forward the wide and varied ** clean ** suggestions!

If you decide to get a new helmet, specialized have a trade in deal, if you bring an old one in. Not sure how long its running for.

I like the subscription idea as its a monthly remainder of father's day, but can I also suggest can bling -

    1. Nice gloves/ mitts
    2. sunglasses
    3. a new jersey.

Basically stuff they can see you wear when you cycle.

I would have said get them to cook you a breakfast (always find that is a fab thing for the kids to do) but I do like mathew h' idea of paying for a sportive or event.

Hopefully it won't happen in my house neither. I hate these contrived occasions. Missus thinks I'm a miserable git though.

I think its good for the kids, like I said above, a breakfast is a great gift, the kids can be happy knowing they are doing something good for dad (mom on mothers day) there is no harm in it.
