£600 to spend on a second hand mountain bike

Hey, I have just sold my RockRider 8.0 for £250 in search for a second hand upgrade. I am looking for a high spec bike for riding trails and possibly doing jumps. What I have found in my price range was: Gt 5.0 i Drive Elite 18" Frame Fox r32 Forks Added Deore Hydrolic Discs Front and back Deore Hollow S Rock shox Monarch 3.1 Rear Sock Lx Rear Mech For £500, I would spend the extra money on a fox rear shock to upgrade? Is this a good idea, any other suggestions?
FS or HD, many thanks to anybody who replies, £700 is my budget:)

    IIRC, there is/was a very nice Rock Lobster in the classifieds for that sort of money.

    Or look about for a Trek 8000
