Sherwood Pines Incident Yesterday

I was at Sherwood Pines with my family yesterday riding on the blue route, and saw a paramedic racing in about 12.30. The woman in the car next to ours said there had been been an incident on the red route. The paramedic was followed in by an ambulance and an incident support vehicle. They only left a couple of hours later. Does anyone know what happened? I hope whoever it was is ok.

Big thanks to the 2 guys who helped my brother out on section 3 red route when he had a wheel wash out on him on sunday 9 june, big style, they looked after him till forestry man came and paramedics and stayed with him also looked after my nephew who was riding with him mind you you my nephew has plenty of photos of him on forestry mans buggy to be shown at later date.a trip to a&e revealed a dislocated shoulder and broken upper arm,(he's already talking about when he can ride again),also big thanks to forestry guys and paramedics from us all for keeping to scraping us all up of the trails when we run out of talent,So I will be riding on my own from now on for a while so if you see a slightly over weight 42year old in a green urge helmet please give a donation to me to put towards my brothers pink tricycle he will be given till he can be trusted not to crash badly ,breaking bones and blocking trails on a Sunday lol!!But serious once again a big thank you to all involved,Its just like we all now nobody's as helpfull as mountain bikes when your in a jam.

The bloody surface around Sherwood is terrible for washing out under your wheels. What's worse, is it's topped by shards of spikey darn shale. Nasty stuff to slide along.
