Apologies if this has been asked a million times before. 3 questions really.
1 does the padding come in different types for short.....medium...longer distance etc.
2 what attributes should I look for
3 what would you recommend up to £100
Thanks for your time and advice.

Assos, Castelli and DHB bib shorts seem to get recommended on here a lot. There are different types of pad and different manufacturers do different pads. Can't say I know what they're all for but Assos for example have an S5 and an S2 pad - seem to recall that the former might be thicker for longer distances and the latter more for shorter distances or racier efforts. I got a pair of Assos with the S2 pad for less than £100 and find them very comfortable on short and long rides (admittedly never done more than 60 miles though).0 -
Castelli Aero best for me and my saddle setup, you and yours might be totally different. Bit of trial and error I'm afraid.0

I managed to bag a couple of pairs of these for £32 each, and very nice they are too.
My money for sub £100 would be on Mavic, Santini or Craft.
If you shop wisely in the sales you can easily bag a £100 for more like £60.
My crafts were a bargain, my santinis were 40 and 60, and the mavics 90 down to 60.
Evans have a 20% off code at the mo for example.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
