Di2 7970 not auto-trimming

Has anyone ever had a problem where the front derailleur on the DA di2 7970 doesn't autotrim when moving up and down the cassette? The FD itself is shifting between chainrings just fine, but i'm obviously experiencing chain rub due to the lack of trimming.

Any suggestions on a fix?

    Are you sure the high and low limits are set correctly? They are easy to adjust with a 2mm Allen key.

    If you scroll through the cassette with the bike on a workshop stand, does the FD definitely not move?

    Start back at zero. Then with detailed instructions in hand do it all over again. Don't think you know what you're doing. Be sure. There are reasons for following instructions.
