Buying a Rockrider 8.1 tomorrow...

Hey Guys,
After a previous topic i posted on here last week i have finally decided to go for a Rockrider 8.1 2012 - http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-81 ... 68918.html
As a beginner this is going to be used mainly for weekly road/cycle path use of a week and for the trails of a weekend e.g. Grizedale and other places around the lakes...
Any thoughts or other recommendations before i go ahead and buy it tomorrow?

Sorry guys... Another question, am 5'11 (175 lbs) and i have reserved a medium.
I done this thinking if i get one slightly smaller then it will be better to control on the trails and slightly lighter... Am i right in thinking this? :?0 -
Might make it worse - too cramped up.0
