Hi All

I have a Santa Cruz Superlight 29er and i want to get the CTD rear shock to match my forks.

SC website states the shock size is 200x50. My question is will a 200x57 cause a massive difference or even not fit? Ive seen one for a good price but obviously concerned about the sizing.

One other thing off the topic, can you mix Shimano and FSA drive components, ie 10 speed Shimano cassette, derailleurs, shifters but with a FSA carbon crank and rings?

Any advice is appreciated

It will fit - the eye to eye is the same, but as the shock has more travel something might hit.
    To the second bit, yes.

Thanks cooldad, im not sure i like the "something might hit" bit. Might just wait and see what comes up in the next few weeks. Im in no rush, so probably more sensible to get the right size i suppose. Glad the mix of comps will work i will get looking for a FSA crank.
