Struggling to decide between a

1. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cinelli-saetta- ... loce-2012/
2. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ridley-damocles ... ot-isp-ud/
3. http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/bbd/road- ... BRC&bike=1

I'm a 51 year old, intermediate level 66kgs male riding in Devon so lots of hills and rough terrain so essential that the frame is smooth as my alloy bike buzzes and does my head in after a while. Cycle to work scheme purchase...
All three are about £1200 currently, but i've specked the Ribble to weigh in at about 7.5kgs which would make it the lightest...
Many thanks

Saetta. I was very close to getting one myself (but ended up going for a Cr1 SL frame instead). When I was trying to find out about the bike, a few posters came back saying how comfy it was, but still very stiff and a rewarding ride. One said they preferred to their Ti ride. Sounded ideal, and I still really like how they look.

I have spent a bit of time on the Ribble website in recent months. It has occurred to me that actually they do not offer the great value you expect. Its ok saying a bike is available from 900ish pounds if its got a crap setup. As soon as you add anything decent to one, the costs are comparable to any other brand and in some cases more expensive. The Cinelli is a nice bike but smaller versions look nothing like you would expect. Very big slope on the frame on anything below a medium. The Ridley looks the best bet. So long as they have it on your size.

BTW, What about the MEKK Poggio 2G? That offers brilliant value.

I'm biased as I recently bought a Damocles but I can heartily recommend it.

Only criticism I have is poor clearance so 25mm tyres would be a very tight fit.
