Less than £60 as standard, or add Avid HS1 rotors (nearly £30 each at CRC!) for a about 8 quid.

Is there much difference between these and SLX? Ive been scouring the net for months waiting for somewhere to do a deal on some SLX brakes, but nowhere seems to.
My Avid Elixir 3's are naff.0 -
They don't have Servo Wave - but are still excellent, the best super budget brake around.0

Good prices on Elixirs and M445 from the same seller as well....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

These are decent brakes for that price - not ideal if you like to one finger brake on steeper trails though. I have used these before and was suitably impressed given the budget nature of them.
I'd say the pair i used had about 2/3rds the outright power of my Elixirs in the dry.0
