Hi, I'm looking at getting a bike to commute to work on but also want to use it for the weekends :) I'd like a jump bike but one I could extend the seat height on for the journeys to work. Preferably with gears. Please any suggestions would be great!! Thanks for your help

Sorry, but a proper jump bike will not have gears and be no use for commuting......

Do you really want a jump bike or just one a bit like one?

  • Yeah I'm still in the process of researching. Basically I live In Brighton and cycling to work there's a few fun things on the way. So I want a bike that I can jump a little just like bunny hopping curbs and down steps. Nothing massive. But also a bike I can take off road to mess about with at the weekends. My cycle to work is roughly 3 miles. Any suggestions? Thanks

    OK, that makes more sense...
GT Chucker or Scott Voltage YZ would both fit your bill we've had both in the family, short wheel base, jump style but can be peddled, in fact my daughter uses hers as a trail bike.
