It'll never happen of course, but it would make great TV.

Good god that's badly written. Is this the standard that passes for a pro writer these days?

I could write better, while hungover.

The student theses you read must be much better than the ones I read.

I'm so ashamed by my MSc thesis now - seriously a few minutes spent on first year about how to write academic stuff properly would make stuff so much easier for lecturers and students alike!
We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Never a truer word was spoken! It is hard to teach people once they get to Masters level and the lecturer needs to be trained properly in how to train others, I for example can't really teach people how to do it. With the 'Globalisation of AcademiaTM' we have lots of MSc students who come from systems where they've never been allowed to form an argument of their own so they have no idea how to do it and it freaks them out.

But really, what do you expect from the USA.
Do you think an intelligent person would get involved (expences or not) with these halfwits. (sorry forgot Stephen Roche)
