Giant Vector seatpost bolt condundrum

Disaster last weekend. On a rough descent, the rear bolt from my Giant Vector carbon seat post came off. I lost both the bolt and nut. Its the rear bolt in the pic
I've gone to my LBS (I'm based in Ireland) and they are saying it'll be hard to get one of these. So first off - does anyone have one going cheap?
Outside of that, has anyone successfully replaced it with a non-Giant nut/bolt? Its basically an m6 40mm, but I think the problem is with the nut which needs to be curved on one side - but maybe a curved washer would do? Help needed!
